About Us

Don Davis received his Bachelor of Science degree from California Polytechnic College and started his agency with the Farmers Insurance Group in 1971.

While with Farmers, Don held the positions of agent and district manager over a period of 31 years. During this time, Don recruited and trained many of the agents who are providing exceptional service to homeowner associations today.

Over his 31 years with Farmers, Don achieved membership into Farmers Insurance President's Council five times. This is an achievement reserved for the top 1% of Farmers' agents and district managers on a national level.

In 2002 Don sold his agency to Farmers and entered into the independent agency system with Solomon & Solomon Insurance Brokers, Inc.

Don has written several articles on insurance issues, particularly those involving homeowners' associations and other topics of interest to assocation managers and board members. He is also a frequent speaker on educational programs for CAI and holds the designations of CLU, CRIS, and CIRMS.

Don is currently on the board for CAI Bay Chapter and has been active on the membership committee with CAI's North Chapter.

Don and his wife, Amy, live in Brentwood and enjoy the company of six grandchildren.
